The type of camping accessories that you will need will depend on what type of camping you are going to be doing, this is very important. If you have a family, a couple of small children, you are not very likely to be going hiking over mountains and camping in the wilderness. You are much more likely to be driving to a serene habitat, booking yourselves into a beautiful well catered for campsite, pitching a large family tent, and settling down to a week or two of relaxing fun. If you are more grown up then you might want to stick a back pack on, put on your walking boots, and head out into the mountains.

There are a few things that you need regardless of the type of camping that you intend to do. For instance you will always need something to cook. So if you intend to head out on your lonesome into the mountains, you may just need an open fire. In that case you will still require some cooking utensils, one or two pans, a means to light your fire, a cup, a plate, and a few bits of food (unless you intend to live off the land).

So for most of us going on a camping trip you will need some kind of a stove. There is a wide range available from single burner stoves, right up to a four burner with grill and oven for those with a car and the right sized tent. You can also get plenty of pots and pans, dishes and plates, all the kitchen utensils that you use at home.

Again with the sleeping arrangements you can choose to be in luxury or have the basic minimum. It's all going to depend on your style of camping. Sleeping bags can be single or double, they can be for all types of weather, for adults and children, and come in a variety of different sizes and designs. You can also purchase a variety of beds from just simple mats that keep you just off the ground to light weight aluminum beds that will turn into a chair as you need it.

There are plenty of places that will stock camp accessories, camping trailer accessories, any camping accessory that you can think of. Spend a bit of time researching your products before you purchase to make sure that you are getting what you need for your particular type of camping.
