What are foot detox patches? Foot detox patches are part of the foot detox area of herbal medicine. There are a wide variety of foot detox patches on the market including the Takara foot detox patch. There is a lot of talk about the validity of using a foot detox patch, whether they work, if they do work, why do they work only on some people? The questions about foot detox patches are many. As I said, there are a lot of foot detox patches on the market , so someone is making a hell of a lot of money. But that goes throughout the whole foot detox and alternative medicine industry, the prescription drug and pharmaceutical industries, and not  just with foot detox patches.

The promise of the Detox Foot Patches is that the purchaser will go to bed at night wearing one of the patches, and wake up in the morning feeling healthy in every way. This is because during the night, your Detox Foot Pads have been working to extract all the toxins from your body through your feet.

The claims for detox foot patches is that it can help to cure depression, skin problems, osteoarthritis, allergies, fatigue, and a whole host of other ailments.

Detox Has been one of the in-words in alternative health care over the last decade. What images crop up in your mind when you think of toxicity? Maybe toxic sludge, filthy power stations, radiation, or any of a multiple of other fear ridden images. It's one of our weaknesses that fundamentally, we are led by our emotions. And advertisers know this. If an advertising executive can put an image of fear into your mind, and in turn point out the magnificent product they are selling which will remove your fears, then they are making sales. It happens everywhere, and with nearly every product you can think of.

If something is considered toxic, by definition it is poisonous. Because we are surrounded by fearfulness about the level of poisons in our atmosphere, or chemicals in our food or germs on our work services and in our toilets, we live in fear that we have a buildup of poisons inside our bodies. And that may well be true. But we are bombarded every day by advertisers combating every type of germ known to man. And the underlying message of each of these advertisements is that if we don't buy the products on offer, we could suffer terrible consequences.

How many products that you buy in your local supermarket are scams? Say there are 5 bottles of bleach on the shelf in your local supermarket. Each bottle of bleach is exactly the same as the next bottle of bleach, but each bleach manufacturer will claim a significant difference in the capacity for their bottle of bleach to kill germs than the next brand. Is this a scam, or is this merely a play on words.

The thing with Foot Detox Patches, and other similar products, such as the Detox Foot Spa is that they are based around these primal fears. They are also pampering to the laziness inside of us. You can go to bed at night, get a restful sleep and wake up feeling fantastic, with all your toxins having been leached quietly away in the night. Why would you need to have a good diet? And, you don't have to exercise,.

When you put one of these detox foot patches on your foot and you go to sleep, the natural ingredients inside the pad are meant to draw out your toxins and contain them inside of the pad. You know this in the morning because when you take the patch of it has turned black. In one test of this product , one used and one new pad were cut up into strips and dissolved in acid. The resulting liquids were tested. The analysis of both liquids proved that both were identical. There was no difference between the used pad and the new pad. In other words there was no sign of toxins.

In another test a new pad was held above a boiling kettle so that the patch was over at the steam. Within a short period of time, the pad had turned black.

There are plenty of testimonials to the effectiveness of these pads. Maybe this is just wishful thinking. On the other hand, if the pad ingredients are as benign as they the manufacturers claim, and they give people positive psychological benefits, then why not.  Foot detox patches may indeed work for some and not for others.  There has been scientific proof on the benefit side as well, providing evidence that foot detox patches work.

I used a specific brand of patch with zeolite in it for three days. It had two positive effects that I remember that I didn't expect - I didn't wake up numerous times during the night for a potty break and I woke up with no pain in my back - which is the norm for me. Now, I'm not saying that these pads cure anything, as when I went to order generic pads on ebay for a lot less money, and they didn't do anything when I used them. I'm trying to find more pads with zeolite to see if they work again. I used the zeolit pads early in 2008. I find it difficult to find the zeolite pads now almost mid-2009.

This supposed review is most unknowledgeable and uneducated unscientific analysis of nothing! In fact, it is stupid! Could have been written by a pharmaceutical company advertiser!

A simple Google search will give much more information on the mechanism of action and results obtained with Quality patches. Yes, most on the market are junk and pure money makers. They are knock offs of effective patches. I won't bother to go into all the information available on soing a search. They do work and the people I have recommended them to had results the first night. The Detox mechanism works via the Lymphatic System.
