The Costa Blanca in general has a lot to offer for the tourist. But if you are staying in this city there are many different things that you should see while you are here. For your tour of this city, stop by its attractions found in Levante, Poniente, Old Town and Ricon de Loix.

The Playa Levante

If you want to be in the busiest part of Benidorm, go to the Levante area which has plenty of busy beaches, hotels and theme parks. This is the place where most hotels were erected and this is also the venue for a different kind of nightlife, what with the bars and the hotels converting into live entertainment centres. All of the hotels have different star ratings and of course, different costs - from two stars to five stars. There are cheaper inns and apartments that are also available in the area. The numerous high rise hotels form the skyscrapers that have become a part of the landscape.

The most popular beach in Benidorm is in this area - the Playa de Levante. This beach, considered to be one of the best European beaches, constitutes 2 kilometers of golden sand which extends up to the Ricon de Loix. Thus, it is used as the venue for different water sports activities. Safety is always a concern at Levante so much so that lifeguards patrol the area incessantly. The beach is not the only attraction here because in this area, you will encounter its 2 great theme parks. The Aqualandia has a dolphinarium and bat cave while the Mundomar boasts of its huge water slides.

Poniente

The place has a beach of golden sand - Playa de Poniente. This is a quieter area compared to the Levante. It has a promenade with slow moving one way traffic. The coastline continues westward to the even quieter area of La Cala. What you see in Levante is also present here - bars, shops, cafes and hotels. The 52 floor Hotel Bali is erected in this place, one very expensive and luxurious hotel!

A Visit to the Old Town

This place gives the tourist a taste of authentic culture of Spain. What one sees here are the maze of cobbled streets, along with the blue domed church and white houses. The accommodations here have easy access to the different beaches - Levante, Poniente and Malpas. For children and lovers of sea animals, the Benidorm Aquarium offers lots of fun. Time your visit to this part of the city to coincide with one of the 50 fiestas celebrated here to experience another uniqueness of Spain.

The Very Modern Ricon De Loix

Modern Spain - this is what Ricon de Loix is. It is a big contrast to the Old Town. What it offers the tourists are its lively indoor market. There are 2 British supermarkets, and other shops are in plentiful supply. This is the place where the tourist will find the Benidorm Palace which offers some fantastic entertainment. This is also a place in the city that is full of activities and entertainment - with its numerous bars, hotels and restaurants.

Your holidays to Benidorm will not be complete without experiencing the waters of the three beaches - Levante, Poniente and Malpas. The four different places, with their specific attractions are Levante, Poniente, Old Town and Ricon de Loix.  Of course you can always get out of the city and enjoy some of the wonderful hidden gems that the Costa Blanca has to offer with a Car Hire in Benidorm.
